3.Option for Income tax deduction from salary arrear bills has been introduced in SPARK

4.Govt. Have introduced a common bill form tr-59 a vide go(p) 149/2014/fin dated, 26-04-2014). All ddos are informed that this bill form is applicable for drawing claims, such as ta, mr, ifma, pf, gis,fbs withdrawals, ltc, terminal surrender etc. From 5-2014. These bills are to be generated through spark application under the menu----accounts---claim entry--claim approval etc. [ (click here for sdos detailed instructions) and (click here for ddos detailed instructions). As per the above go, wages bill will be in tr-51 henceforth.

5.Government have made GPF Rules applicable to those employees who have joined the service  on or after 01.04.2013 and coming under NPS.Guidelines for NPS Deduction in SPARK.

6 .Online submission of Salary Bills - Instructions Issued:Government have instructed the Director of Treasuries to ensure that  e-submitted salary bills alone shall be encashed in all District Treasuries from the salary bill for 10/2013 and Sub-Treasuries from 11/2013 onwards.For details view   Circular No.78/2013/Fin Dated 17/10/2013.

The inaugural function started at 10.00 AM The function was presided by Sri K Sethuraman IPS, District Superintendent of Police.   In his presidential address he gave a picture of the benefits  got to departments by implementing SPARK.  The welcome address was delivered by Smt. Sajitha Baby, Assistant District Coordinator, Akshaya Project Malappuram. She gave a brief idea about the SPARK related work done by Akashya in the District. Sri M C Mohandas IAS inaugurated the function and delivered the key note address. In the key note address he spoke about the easiness of SPARK and the motivation given to employees to generate bill through SPARK. He highlighted that there are departments which are yet to implement SPARK. He stressed to implement SPARK in these offices and extended the support from him for the implementation.  Sri.Girish Parakkat, Manager, SPARK gave an insight on how to process bills  in SPARK .A presentation regarding the status of Malappuram District was done by S.ri. Sarin of SPARK PMU  A group discussion was  conducted on Spark implementation and groups  expressed their opinion related to the improvement of Spark Services.

 

There were 121 Participants in the workshop from various Departments.
